Episode 65: Hall of Presidents

Almost 1.5 years ago in NYC/Denver, a podcast was born. In a time of emperors and kings, it was an astounding, revolutionary dream—that we, Disney Philharpodcast, should relive the magic and learn facts we should already know.

Learn the facts about the Hall of Presidents here with us in an episode where singing Hamilton songs is finally relevant but Laura and Andrew forget the lyrics, we learn a great hidden talent of Andrew's, somehow avoid doing ANY League of their Own jokes and of course...this is one of Alison's FAVORITE attractions.

Episode 63: France Pavilion

Bonjour et bienvenue to Disney Philharpodcast! In this episode we learn facts we should already know about the France Pavilion, one of the opening day World Showcase Pavilions in Epcot.  This incredible pavilion has everything: Alison's favorite ________, comfortable chairs and air conditioning, Chanel No. 5, half baguettes, a secret restaurant (shhh), wool sweaters from the 80's, and things with posters! And don't think an episode dedicated to such a beautiful, romantic, perfectly themed space managed to skate by without a mention of The Shaggy Dog starring Tim Allen...

Episode 60: Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (2017 Edition)

It's Merry, Not So Scary! or... It's Really Not So Scary!
Choose your own lyrics, really!

In this Episode...you guessed it...we are talking all about Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party; MNSSHP if you're fancy :)

This super fun ticketed event hap---WAIT A MINUTE---we already did that idea! Anyway, here is an update to our first MNSSHP Episode, an addendum, if you will.  We also take a good look at the special offerings for the 2017 parties because we are headed to one next week.  Also, stay tuned until the end if you want to hear Laura's dissertation on the recurring themes of holiday Hallmark Channel movies.

Episode 59: Hocus Pocus (1993)

After BEING FORCED to move to Salem, Mass. AGAINST HIS WILL, teenager Max Dennison (total loser) explores an abandoned house with his sister Dani (who is so much cooler than her brother) and their new friend, Allison (rich girl with nice YABBOS). After totally embarrassing himself by mocking a story Allison tells, Max, being the virgin and big dummy that he is, accidentally (on purpose) frees a coven of evil witches who used to live in the house. Now, with the help of a magical cat (Thack Binx) and their new best friend Billy Bones, the kids must steal the witches' skin-wrapped peeping Tom book of spells to stop them from becoming immortal while their parents have the time of their lives partying all night. AND GARRY MARSHALL.

Follow along as we talk about some fun facts about the movie, learn stuff we should already know, gush about how much we love the film and also make fun of Max a lot.  YES ITS A DISNEY MOVIE!
